Marella Cruises will roll out its new gastropub, Piccadilly’s, on every ship from June 2025. The venue is included in the line’s all-inclusive fare.
Fresh Third Option in Main Dining Rooms
Piccadilly’s is the third specialty eatery to join each ship’s main dining room lineup. The 250-seat space offers a relaxed British pub setting and promises wider choice for guests.
Menu Reimagines British Classics
The menu rotates often. It highlights traditional dishes with a modern twist:
“Chicken or Egg” – smoked chicken jelly, crispy soft egg, chutney
“Chicken Cock-a-Leekie” – vegetable-stuffed roast chicken
“Great British Burgers” platter – beef, Yorkshire pudding, pork, chips, coleslaw
“The Arthur Duke Pasty Duo” – pork, apple and apricot Wellington; hand-pulled beef and mushroom pastry
Orange Jaffa Cake – orange jelly, 70 % dark chocolate, candied orange
Starters also feature chips with gravy, devilled chicken liver on toast, smoked salmon rolls, leek and potato soup, mushroom soup, and a smoked haddock and leek pasty.
Hearty Main Courses and Classic Desserts
Signatures include Angus beef with Yorkshire pudding, steak and ale pie, roast chicken dinner, sole Kiev, vegetarian steak and chips, and the “Curry Mile” vegetable pie. A fish-and-chips plate comes with beer-battered cod, steak chips, pea fritters and pickled wally.
Desserts range from warm apple pie and “King of Rice Pudding” to a British cheese board, homemade ice creams, chocolate-vanilla profiteroles and “Queen of Puddings.”
Premium Picks for a Surcharge
Guests can upgrade to several dishes:
Seafood French fries – £11.95
Lamb rack – £11.95
Seared sirloin steak – £11.95
Belgian chocolate dome – £4.45 (salted brownie, almond ganache, orange marmalade, vanilla ice cream, hot caramel sauce)
Evening Hours and Service
Piccadilly’s opens daily from 18:00 to 21:00. Marella says the restaurant will deliver the friendly service for which its crew is known. The concept joins Kora La and Surf & Turf, both already fleet-wide.
Management Comment
Luke Saunders, Food and Beverage Development Manager at Marella Cruises, said the trial phase showed “great enthusiasm” for British comfort food:
“We are delighted to launch Piccadilly’s across all of our ships. Guests loved the hearty favourites and the refined desserts during trials. We look forward to their response when the venue debuts fleet-wide.”
