Juicy Marbles, the Slovenia-based company known for its realistic plant-based whole cuts, has announced a partnership with Zyrcular Foods to launch its full product range across Spain. Through this collaboration, Juicy Marbles’ meats will reach supermarkets, specialty retailers, and restaurants nationwide.
“Marbled” Plant-Based Steak Debut
Juicy Marbles first made headlines in 2021 with what it called the world’s first “marbled” plant-based steak. Each product is crafted as a uniform piece of meat, complete with thousands of fibrous “muscle” strands. The steaks can be sliced, shredded, diced, or cooked whole, and arrive raw and unseasoned, allowing chefs and home cooks to integrate them into diverse recipes—from tapas and stews to pies and burritos.
Nutrition and Clean Label
These meat alternatives earned an A Nutrition Score for their balanced micronutrient profile, complete protein, dietary fiber, and low saturated fat. In 2024, the company introduced Marble 3.0, its cleanest formula yet, containing just nine ingredients and free from thickeners, binders, preservatives, and GMOs.
