NoMad London’s cocktail bar Side Hustle has been a huge success, but despite being located in a stunning room, the hotel’s restaurant has rarely been seen. Now, they’re remaking it as a New York-style brasserie.
The hotel, called Twenty8 NoMad (named after the hotel’s address), will also be giving its already impressive rooms a slight makeover, with Martin Brudnizki design studio overseeing the new look. They describe the new look as a more laid-back vibe with “moody, playful glamour,” and a new wood-burning fireplace.
For the menu, they’ve taken inspiration from New York and French brasserie styles, including dry-aged, flame-grilled Galician gold steaks (cooked in the aforementioned oven). There’s also a new raw bar area and seafood tower, and the signature “NoMad Chicken” with black truffles and foie gras will carry over to the new location. As for drinks, we loved the new Twenty8 Martini Menu, which includes the Twenty8 Martini garnished with smoked olives and blue cheese.
This is one of the most beautiful restaurants in London, so it will be interesting to see how this revamp pans out.
