Solaire Resort Entertainment City is celebrating its 12th anniversary this year by bringing in renowned Michelin-starred chefs to enhance its dining offerings. The resort hosted three chefs with Michelin stars, delivering an unforgettable culinary experience for its guests.
Chef Jun Yukimura and His Nine-Course Kaiseki Dinner
The anniversary celebration kicked off with Chef Jun Yukimura, the owner of the three-Michelin-starred Azabu Yukimura in Tokyo. Chef Yukimura showcased his expertise in traditional Japanese cuisine at Yakumi, offering a bespoke nine-course Kaiseki dinner. Each dish was paired with premium sake and cocktails crafted by award-winning mixologist Shingo Gokan. This special event was a highlight of the resort’s anniversary festivities.
Chef Sun Kim’s Contemporary Korean Cuisine
The following week, the celebration continued with Chef Sun Kim, the owner of Meta, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Singapore. Chef Kim is known for his seasonal, produce-driven menus inspired by Korean flavors. Drawing on his diverse international experience, he offered guests a contemporary dining experience at Waterside. The six-course tasting menu was complemented by tea creations from Tea Master He Jia, offering a unique fusion of flavors.
Chef Heinz Beck’s Gastronomic Masterpieces at Finestra
The most anticipated event of the anniversary was the appearance of Chef Heinz Beck at Finestra. Chef Beck, a German culinary master, is renowned for his work at La Pergola, Rome’s only three-Michelin-starred restaurant. He is also the founder of The Order of the Knights of Italian Cuisine and has authored the best-selling book “L’Ingrediente Segreto” (The Secret Ingredient).
Chef Beck prepared a remarkable six-course dinner at Finestra, which included dishes such as marinated amberjack with celeriac in seawater and oxidized chocolate, scampo with sweet peppers and green gazpacho, and red fruit ice sphere with tea cream and crystallized raspberries. Some of these dishes were inspired by those served at La Pergola, with ingredients flown in directly from Italy.
