Lupus LA: Honoring Community Leaders
The event also honors three remarkable individuals for their contributions to the lupus community. The Ellis Community Leadership Award will be presented to Michael and Jay Ireland. As Co-President of the Motion Picture Group at Paramount Pictures, Michael Ireland has been an advocate for lupus awareness, especially since Jay’s diagnosis in 2016. Cedric The Entertainer will receive the Loop Award for his dedication to lupus advocacy. Additionally, Dr. Wesley Mizutani will be honored with the Medical Visionary Award for his exceptional commitment to lupus care and patient support.
