Dolly’s Burgers & Shakes, a new venture by Big Boy Restaurant Group, is set to open its third restaurant in the region on Monday. This marks a major milestone for the brand, as it expands into the Dayton area following the successful launches of its first two locations in Cincinnati.
Miamisburg to Host Soft Opening
The family-style restaurant will hold a soft opening in Miamisburg, starting at 7 a.m. Dolly’s will feature the familiar flavors that the Big Boy Restaurant Group is known for, with a special focus on its Signature Burgers and drive-through window. According to Tamer Afr, CEO of Big Boy Restaurant Group, the restaurant is committed to satisfying local tastes with its signature offerings. “Contrary to what you may have heard, we know that the white sauce is the right sauce for our Signature Burgers in southwest Ohio,” Afr explained.
Menu Changes and New Locations
Dolly’s Burgers & Shakes will feature a few menu updates, including the renaming of the famous Big Boy to Signature Burger and the introduction of Signature Sauce in place of Frisch’s tartar sauce. These changes reflect the brand’s efforts to reinvent itself while retaining its roots.
In addition to Miamisburg, Dolly’s has already opened locations on Plainfield Road in Blue Ash and Beechmont Avenue in Anderson Township. The next location will open in Troy, with the former Frisch’s restaurant in Delhi Township also set to be taken over by Dolly’s next month.
Expanding the Workforce
The company is hiring around 60 employees per location, ensuring that each new restaurant is staffed to meet the growing demand. Interestingly, the chain is opening in properties where the courts previously foreclosed on the Frisch’s brand.
Dolly’s Burgers & Shakes is committed to making its mark in the region, with plans to open more locations in the coming months. Fans of the restaurant can expect an exciting and familiar dining experience as the chain continues to grow.
