WingFest, the popular annual celebration of chicken wings, is making its return to Amsterdam this April. The event will take place on April 19, and local restaurants are invited to participate in this tasty competition, the City of Amsterdam Recreation Department announced on Wednesday.
What to Expect at WingFest
From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of wing flavors at participating restaurants. Each wing sample will cost just $1, and a wing guide will be provided to help attendees navigate the flavors, entertainment, and special offers at each location.
The highlight of the event will be the voting process. After sampling the wings, attendees will cast their votes for their favorite flavor. The restaurant with the most votes will receive the prestigious Best Wings in the City trophy.
Encouraging Restaurant Participation
Amsterdam restaurants are encouraged to participate by offering one or more wing flavors for tasting. In addition to the wings, participants are invited to provide music, games, and other food specials to attract more visitors to their locations during the event.
How to Get Involved
Restaurants interested in participating must send an RSVP, including details of their wing offerings and any planned activities, to the city’s recreation department by March 28.
WingFest promises to be a fun-filled day for both locals and visitors, combining great food, lively entertainment, and community spirit. Don’t miss out on the chance to join the wing-tasting celebration!
