Mitote Food Park, a popular destination for diverse Mexican cuisine from food trucks, is preparing for a move to a new location just a short distance from its current spot. The food park will relocate to a 1.7-acre parcel of land that includes a 20,000-square-foot warehouse, located less than half a mile away at 100 Sebastopol Road.
Relocation Details
The move is scheduled to take place in late March, with the current location at 665 Sebastopol Road closing at the end of the month. Mitote Food Park plans to reopen at the new site by early May, depending on permitting and other logistical factors.
Lisa Johnson-Foster, Director of Operations at Mitote Food Park, shared with What Now San Francisco that the new space promises to offer an even better experience for visitors. “We are hoping that everyone will be able to come to the new location,” she said, expressing excitement for the upcoming transition.
What Makes Mitote Food Park Unique?
Mitote Food Park has garnered attention and love from food enthusiasts because of its diverse food offerings. While all the food trucks serve Mexican cuisine, the trucks feature unique and varied menus that ensure a wide array of options for visitors. Johnson-Foster highlighted, “Even though all of our trucks serve different types of Mexican food, you really can go to each truck and get something different.” This diversity of flavors and dishes is what sets Mitote Food Park apart.
Looking Ahead
While the exact reopening date is still pending, the food park is excited about the opportunities its new location will bring. With a larger space and a better setup, Mitote Food Park is eager to continue serving its loyal customers while offering a variety of Mexican dishes in a vibrant food truck atmosphere. Visitors can expect a new experience with more room for dining and exploring the diverse menu offerings at the food park.
