Chick-fil-A is expanding its presence in the San Diego area with a brand-new location at 2401 Truxtun Road, Suite 102, in Liberty Station. The new restaurant will open its doors on Thursday, March 6, 2025, and will offer a range of services including dine-in, carry-out, curbside pick-up, and delivery.
Matt Hughes, the independent franchised local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Liberty Station, shared his excitement for the new venture. “The vision for our new restaurant is to provide a meaningful employment experience and unmatched care for our community, both within our four walls and beyond,” Hughes said. “We find joy in going the extra mile to serve the San Diego community, and I’m excited and humbled to expand this vision and the opportunities we can provide with Chick-fil-A Liberty Station.”

As part of the grand opening, Chick-fil-A Liberty Station will be hiring 60 full and part-time team members to help serve the community. The fast-food chain continues to grow its footprint in San Diego, with more than 20 other locations throughout the county, including a nearby restaurant on Sports Arena Boulevard in Point Loma.
A Commitment to the Community
In celebration of the grand opening, Chick-fil-A has made a generous donation of $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts, specifically benefiting Feeding San Diego. This donation underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community.
