With inflation on the rise, food prices are up 3.6% from last year. However, Valentine’s Day 2025 still offers plenty of restaurant deals and dining specials to help you celebrate without breaking the bank.
Rising Costs but a Romantic Outlook
Despite the increased cost of dining out, most people aren’t letting inflation dampen their Valentine’s Day plans. According to a survey by Snappy, about 72% of people are expected to spend more this year compared to 2024, with a majority (60%) planning to spend $50 to $100 per person on dining out.
Factors like Valentine’s Day specials (46%) and price (34%) were key considerations when choosing a place to dine. Other important aspects included ambiance (41%) and reservation availability (33%).
