Nina Laohapant, the owner of AH’HAAN, has announced that her new restaurant is set to open in March at 237 Kentlands Blvd, Gaithersburg. AH’HAAN aims to offer a modern dining experience while paying homage to the rich culinary traditions of Thailand.
A Nod to Bangkok Garden’s Legacy
AH’HAAN is poised to bring back some of the beloved dishes from Bangkok Garden, the iconic Thai restaurant that served the Bethesda community for 37 years. The new establishment will take over the space once occupied by Good Fortune Cafe, which had been a local staple for nearly three decades.
Laohapant is eager to offer a fresh twist on traditional Thai flavors, combining nostalgia with innovative new dishes. AH’HAAN promises to continue the legacy of Bangkok Garden while offering new culinary adventures for both loyal fans and new diners.
A Unique Dining Experience
AH’HAAN will feature a full-service bar, creating an inviting space for guests to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails and an array of Thai-inspired beverages. One of the standout features of the restaurant will be its unlimited brunch, offering a fun and unique dining experience. The brunch will include refreshing lychee and passionfruit mimosas paired with a creative selection of Thai brunch dishes.
Some of the exciting dishes guests can look forward to include lobster khao soy eggs Benedict and pandan waffles, giving traditional Thai flavors a modern, brunch-friendly twist.
Looking Ahead to the Opening
Currently, Bangkok Garden operates in Wintergreen Plaza (Rockville, MD) and has a location in Pasadena, MD. The opening of AH’HAAN in Gaithersburg will continue the Bangkok Garden legacy while introducing new flavors to the community.
