Cuisine Solutions will mark the 8th edition of its International Sous Vide Day on January 26, 2025. The event celebrates the innovative cooking technique that has revolutionized the culinary world, as well as the 83rd birthday of Dr. Bruno Goussault, the pioneering Master of Modern Sous-Vide. Dr. Goussault, who is also the Chief Scientist at the Culinary Research and Education Academy (CREA), is credited with developing the sous-vide method over 50 years ago in 1971.

Chef Bertholon, Cuisine Solutions’ Chief Strategy Officer, will host the event, welcoming guests and media for an exclusive look at the history and evolution of sous-vide cooking. Attendees will gain insights into the artistry behind this technique that has become a cornerstone of modern culinary practices.
The event will also feature a series of tasting stations, where some of the top international chefs from Cuisine Solutions will showcase innovative dishes prepared using sous-vide. Champions of Sous Vide Awards
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the third annual Champions of Sous Vide Awards. The awards recognize chefs who have demonstrated exceptional skill in sous-vide cooking and are expected to shape the future of this technique. Last year’s award winners included Christian Têtedoie, President of Maitres Cuisiniers de France and owner of Têtedoie, and Alexandre Berthaud, Chef de Cuisine and Head of Research and Development at Le Traiteur Té.
With this celebration, Cuisine Solutions continues to honor the legacy of Dr. Goussault and further solidify sous-vide as an essential technique in the culinary world.
