After serving up pizzas for 15 years, SPIN! Pizza is officially closing its South Plaza restaurant location at 4950 Main Street in Kansas City. The decision comes as the restaurant’s lease ends, and the business plans to shift its focus to the newly remodeled Corinth Square location in Prairie Village, Kansas.
A Difficult Decision for the Pizza Chain
Ed Brownell, CEO of SPIN! Pizza, shared that this decision was not an easy one. In a statement, he expressed his gratitude for the loyal guests and team members who made the South Plaza location a success over the years. “Our Main Street location has been a cherished part of the SPIN! family, and we are deeply grateful to our loyal guests and team members who have made this restaurant so successful,” Brownell said.
Focus Shifts to the New Corinth Square Location
With the South Plaza location closing, SPIN! Pizza is directing its energy towards the newly remodeled restaurant at Corinth Square in Prairie Village. The updated location offers a modernized interior dining area and an expanded menu featuring everything from fresh salads to the restaurant’s signature hand-crafted pizzas.
A New Chapter for SPIN! Pizza
Despite the closure, SPIN! Pizza assures loyal customers that this is not a goodbye. Brownell emphasized that the closing of the South Plaza location marks “a new chapter” for the brand, with the team excited about enhancing the guest experience at the Corinth Square restaurant. “We’re excited about the opportunity to provide an even better experience for our guests at Corinth Square, and we’re confident our dedicated team will continue to deliver the exceptional food and service SPIN! is known for,” he added.
Continuing the SPIN! Pizza Legacy in the Kansas City Area
SPIN! Pizza has multiple locations throughout the Kansas City metro area, including in the Northland, Crown Center, and other spots on both sides of the state line.
