Cork Airport has announced plans to close its Craft Lane bar and restaurant for two months in preparation for a significant refurbishment. The revamped space will reopen in mid-March, featuring an updated setting and an expanded menu that celebrates Cork’s food culture.
Managed by the food services company KSG, the bar and restaurant will undergo a complete transformation and be rebranded as ‘Craft’. The focus will be on showcasing locally sourced ingredients in a menu designed to highlight the region’s culinary heritage.
New Features and Expanded Capacity
As part of the refurbishment, a new cocktail bar will be constructed in the area currently occupied by the Craft Lane kiosk, located next to Gate 7. The redesigned space will feature a modern bar counter, an updated seating area, and a dedicated restaurant section. The new layout will increase capacity, allowing the venue to accommodate up to 150 customers at a time.
The revamp is set to offer passengers a refreshed dining experience, offering both a vibrant atmosphere and high-quality local cuisine.
