For small businesses like Sakura Hibachi Restaurant, Stockton Restaurant Week provides an excellent chance to increase exposure and attract new customers. Located on Pacific Avenue, the restaurant has become a favorite spot for those seeking a fun and interactive dining experience.
“People can come enjoy a fun teppanyaki experience, complete with a fire show and knife tricks, especially the onion volcano,” said manager Binh Nguyen. “Kids absolutely love it here.”
Originally launched as a catering service during the pandemic, Sakura Hibachi has since expanded into a permanent location. Nguyen views Restaurant Week as a great opportunity to introduce the restaurant to a wider audience.
“We’re still new here on the Miracle Mile,” Nguyen added. “I hope to bring in new customers and make our presence known.”

Stockton Restaurant Week features a variety of cuisines, from French and Guatemalan to German, Japanese, Vietnamese, and more. This diverse selection allows food lovers to explore different cultures and flavors right in their own city.
Alyssa Saing, a manager at American Waffle Diner on March Lane, shared similar sentiments, noting that the promotion has helped attract new customers.
“We’re proud to be part of Restaurant Week,” Saing said. “It brings the whole community together.”
